My name is Nicole Landgrebe

Just starting out has to be one of the most challenging things in any new venture. There are so many things to learn and do.

Well that about sums it up, I love taking photographs and have done for many many years now, from buying my first SLR camera with film to now the digital world which amazes me everyday with new technology! I do love all the gadgets you can get these days….. I remember my first digital camera a CASIO,  OHHH wait for it 1.2 MEGA pixel…. ran on four double A batteries, a point and shoot thing but it was amazing because you could see the images instantly, and then put them onto your computer and adore them….

I have grown a bit since then, thank goodness I now have a Nikon D90 digital SLR that has the ability to video as well, great little light camera that has everything I could want! HMMM I say that now but give it a year or two I’m sure that I will possibly want and need more. along with my camera body I have an aray of lenses that work wonders…people often think a camera takes the pictures, well without a lense you got NOTHING! and without an EYE it is difficult to see. I have four lenses, a macro 105mm, zoom 70-200mm, a prime 50mm and an 18 -70mm, I like to think that I have an eye for capturing images that reflect feelings, mood, love, life and a memory that you can look back on, a split second of time that in many years to come you can look at and remember.

Sunny days by the beach, your newborn baby, marrying the one that you love, growing old together and most of all just enjoying life…… My father who was an amazing techno guru had Cameras, Video Cameras, Slide Cameras, anything new he could get his hands on he would buy and use to the fullest….. I must have got it from him….. I love to look back at pictures my dad took of my brother and I when we were kids and even going back when he was growing up a young man courting my mum, I love those images.

There are days when I am taking pictures that I can feel them deep inside me, I can nearly smell the flowers that I capture. I have a house full of memories captured and printed, then hung on my walls, I can never get enough, especially of my boys!

I have an amazing fiance David, two gorgeous boys Judd 13 and Jesse 9, and two step kids, Matthew 17 and Ellesha 15, so together we are one big family.

Everyday is a great day, smile, look straight ahead and enjoy it……………
